The second one is in the "Comenius Classroom". We used to have this place to gather there to discuss, organize and compose the various comenius workshops. Just after the beginning of the project our principle Mr. Ioannis Tzikas arranged to have a place with wifi internet connection where we could group to work and exhibit our products. Some times we used to bring the students to have lessons in that classroom when the subject was relevant to the products of our Comenius workshops.

Environment
Environment is very essential in every aspect of life. All the living beings are depended upon the environment. We have to protect it by recycling, reusing and reducing. One of the greatest problems that the world is facing today is that of environmental pollution, increasing with every passing year and causing grave and irreparable damage to the earth. Environmental pollution consists of five basic types of pollution, namely, air, water, soil, noise and light. We did a project about this. Our workshop is the following:
My dream job
One of the most important concerns of the modern teenagers is to choose the right job for them. They consider mainly three criteria to find their preferable future job. The first one is the jobs they like to do, the second one is in which fields they are talented and the third one is which jobs can ensure a future professional success. According to the above three criteria each teen prefer a different job. So, we can't say that every job is suitable for every teen.
Thanks to our opinion
that professional issues are very important for our future, we decided to write
down our points of view about our dream job!
You can see
some of them in our projects below:
Modern teens and their interests
Teenagers are each country's future. So, the future of each state will be influenced by the personality of the next generation, which is developed based on their interests.
The interests of the teenagers can be seen, looking at the way they spend their free time. The Greek students took part in an investigation on that issue where numerous students from all particpant schools were participating . The investigation took place via 'pupils' area' in Twin Space:

The 11th Gymnasium of Larissa welcomed teachers and students coming from 6 European countries visiting from 5-5-2014 to 9-5-2014. The countries that visited us are Bulgaria, Finland, Poland, Romania, Spain and Turkey. We hosted 43 students and 20 educators from the countries above.
Some videos of the activities in Larissa, Greece appear below:
Comenvision
The music performance (Comenvision) was held in the Amphitheatre of the Municipal Water Company in Larissa. Water Company officials, teachers and students from all participant countries, all the students and teachers of the 11th Gymnasium and many parents participated in the event.
Each country presented its own song:
Finland -> Cup song
Poland -> Valerie
Spain -> Happy
Romania -> Insieme
Bulgaria -> Calling All The Monsters at Halloween
Turkey -> Domino
Greece -> Fragosiriani - Hassapiko dance
The whole presentation was very successful and everybody enjoyed and apllauded the students' presentation.
At the end of the music performances each country was given a cup to remember being part of the Comenvision in Greece.
Greek Traditions and festivals
During the Comenius week in Larissa the teachers and the students enjoyed the Greek hospitality.
The first day at school the Greek teachers helped the students learn how to dance Greek traditional dances.
At the Water Company the greek students danced traditional dances with the participation of all the students and teachers. They also tasted Greek traditional food which was made by the good will of the Greek families. They also experienced Greek music and dance at a Greek tavern.
Next day they visited st. Nicolas church and the monasteries at Meteora and they got in touch with our religions tradition and whorship.
A team of Greek students presented an ancient greek comedy (by Aristofnis) in one of the two ancient theatres of our city. So everybody experienced a performance they had never seen before.
The whole week gave them the chance to see things totally different for their culture but also interesting that will help them have a memorable time during their visit here.
Evaluation: Larissa – students
After visiting Larissa the Polish team counted the
students answers to the questionnaire. Although the students were
different the results are similar. The students think more or less in the same way. What’s interesting, they have added more comments and it’is good especially that
in this way they have opportunity to say whatever they like.
Evaluation questionnaire
This is the questionaire for the students, that the Polish team gave us. We give it to our students after each mobility and we collect their answers. The Polish team counts the results and gives the evaluation to all the partners.

Less than 3 months till the partners visit us! See the Greek Preparation
We have to keep the tradition of the "Greek Hospitality": When the Greeks wait for visitors they have to prepare everything in perfection and do their best to welcome and host them!
We are waiting eagerly for our partners' visit in Larissa! It's been a long time since the Greek teachers and students have been discussing about it, how to organize our activities, what places to visit with our friends, how to involve them in Greek culture, to taste Greek food etc. There are meetings with parents and teachers at school very often, where we are discussing the preparations for our guests. It is an absolutely enjoyable period for us!

Last week we sent an email to invite our partners to our city and give them some information on the visit.
This
week, we sent the Programme and we started the dialogue about the
"Comenvision" event.
But, there are many things which have to be done...
During the Holy Week of the Orthodox Easter Holidays students along with volunteer parents and teachers cleaned, painted and decorated the school in order to be able to receive our visitors.
